Challenge
Learniture approached Toast with a need to brand their educational furniture collection and create marketing materials for an upcoming exhibition. Branding Learniture for the education market and then applying this new identity to marketing materials was an exciting challenge.
Approach
First Toast worked with Learniture to create a logo, working together through our design process, whilst ensuring the logo met certain requirements.
Solution
Once the logo was finalised, marketing materials were created, using the same design principles established when creating the logo. This included a fold-out leaflet or flyer, poster, stationery and content managed website. Stephan Collins (famous for his Guardian illustrations) was commissioned to create the main infographic designs demonstrating the ‘zones’ the furniture can be configured to create specific learning spaces.
We gave Toast a challenging branding brief with numerous constraints. We love the result that now follows through on much of our product aesthetic.

Logo Types
The logo needs to be placed on the collection of furniture so a range of options were needed to cover the various colours and materials this was to appear on.
Secondary logos were created and encased in a lozenge graphic to allow for the different backgrounds, these were then converted into badges which were stuck on were appropriate.
Along with the printed materials digital versions were created. An icon set was designed from the logo for social media and website use.
Fold out leaflet
A fold out leaflet was created, this folded down from A3 to A5. The aim of this was to promote the furniture and the specific learning zones that you can arrange the furniture into.
The leaflet also acted as a poster with the illustration on the reverse side.
Website
A content management WordPress website was also designed, built and hosted.
