How we do it.
Research and planning.
Your brochure needs to say something to a certain market. Whether this is to inform, sell or sign-up, it needs to accomplish a task. We’ll look into what’s going to work best for you (it might not be that A4 12-pager you were thinking about).
Brainstorming & concepts.
Pencils out. All our brochure design projects start life as sketches on paper. We work loosely, exploring creative directions and concepts for your brochure before we get anywhere near a Mac. This means we cover a lot of creative ground without burning the budget.
Design.
Our creatives work across Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to design your awesome new brochure. We can work with the assets you supply or help you source photography and craft your copy.
Artwork and Print.
Never scrimp on the print! The final art working of your brochure gets it ready for production – we can help you look at all production options – from budget to beautiful.

Brochure Design FAQ
What sort of brochures do we design?
We work on a wide range of brochure work; from small promotional brochures all the way up to reports, ESG statements, sales brochures, catalogues and annual reports.
How long does the process take?
It depends largely on the brochure size—the more pages, the longer it takes. We also tend to work to our clients’ deadlines, so we prioritise around that.
Who does the work?
We think projects run best when you work directly with the designer who’s creating your brochure, so you’ll have direct communication with our creatives.
How much does it cost?
This depends on the complexity and size of the project: more pages do not necessarily mean more budget – it comes down to the complexity of the content.
Do we offer different formats?
Often we create different versions of brochures, including printed, digital and interactive. We also create accessible versions, large print and translations.
Do we look after printing?
Yes, we can take care of the entire process from planning to final print.
Do we provide copywriting?
Yes, two in-house copywriters can provide full copywriting, copy editing or proofing assistance.
Can we create graphics and charts?
No problem: if your project includes data that needs converting to charts and graphs, we can do that. Likewise, we can create infographics and other creative ways to display data.
Do we supply images?
We have access to free, freemium, and premium stock libraries for images, and we also use AI to generate unique images for projects if necessary (using our own AI tool).

Our studio.
We’re a full-service design studio, so we can help you create the perfect brochure, develop an interactive online version and even turn it into a microsite.
Our studio is a three-storey Victorian townhouse in Oxfordshire and we work as a creative team with all the brochure design experts on our ground floor.

Toast have been my designers of choice for many years, across a range of publications (both print and digital) for several different brands. They are always super-responsive, helpful and creative. I had a good feeling about using Toast from their website and initial consultantion call. Since using them for a few weeks I can say they are excellent. Their communication is comprehensive but not over-technical with clear recommendations. They are also quick and the most transparent logging of time I’ve ever seen in dealing with IT people/developers.
