Benholm Group came to Toast to produce a new flagship brochure that could clearly explain the scale and thinking behind their commercial planting services.
With more than 30 years of experience and a wide product range, they needed something that worked as a sales tool but also felt like a clear statement of who they are. The brochure had to look established and confident, and work across print, PDF sharing, and day-to-day use in meetings with specifiers, designers, and commercial teams.
From the start, the priority was clarity. Benholm’s offer covers a lot of ground, from living walls and indoor trees through to rental models, ongoing maintenance, and sustainability credentials. The issue wasn’t a lack of content. It was about organising what already existed into something calm, readable, and easy to navigate. The final brochure relies on strong photography and a restrained layout, letting the work speak for itself rather than over-designing the pages.
Project scope.
The brief covered the full design and production of a 36-page brochure, created primarily for print.
We handled creative direction, layout, typography, and overall structure. Benholm supplied photography and core copy, which we edited and reorganised to improve flow, consistency, and tone.
We explored two initial design routes to test different layout and colour options. Once a direction was agreed, we developed this into a flexible template layout that could handle detailed content, large imagery, and future updates without losing consistency. The final stage covered full artwork production, rounds of amends, and print management and delivery of the finalised brochure.
