My role at Toast
As Toast’s Creative Director, I lead our creative team in developing innovative design solutions that align with client objectives and uphold our high standards.
I am responsible for setting the creative vision, guiding the design team, and ensuring that all outputs from branding and marketing materials to annual reports and website design (UX/UI) are both highly effective and visually exceptional.
Personal Bio:
I graduated from Oxfordshire School of Art & Design with ND and HND qualifications in Graphic Design.
I began my career in 2004 at Euromark PLC. I worked as an integral part of the design team, creating packaging concepts and producing print-ready artwork for various licensed products in the gifting sector.
I joined Toast in 2008 as a junior designer and, over the years, progressed to my current role as Creative Director. I work on diverse print and digital projects for clients ranging from start-ups to large international organisations. My experience spans multiple sectors, including Charities, Local Government, Health, Finance, Technology, and Food and drink.
As an experienced designer, I excel at developing engaging, consistent materials for existing brands, ensuring that every project is delivered on time and on budget. I have also created numerous brands from the ground up, designing bespoke logos, icons, and graphics, and developing comprehensive brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive visual identity.
I genuinely enjoy helping clients enhance their business by solving problems through thoughtful design.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, running (not too far!), and I’m an avid movie fan, visiting our local cinema as often as I can.
