Arnica is a busy dental practice offering a wide range of services.

With a team of people working on managing and updating the site, it was crucial that the CMS was easy to manage and intuitive to use for non-technical staff.

We redesigned and build this new site for Arnica from the ground up using custom content management for each section of the site.

Now, when the team come to edit and update content, the back-end of the site closely matches the front-end.

This means no more messing around in the WYSIWYG editor or overly-complex page builder plugins.

This makes the site very easy to manage and update – whether they are adding new navigation items or new pages.

Custom-built WordPress theme.

The new Arnica site is built on a fully bespoke WordPress theme that we’ve developed as a starter-theme for all the websites we create. This means the website does exactly what the team at Arnica need – and nothing they don’t.

This also has the advantage of making the site future-proof for further development. The sites theme is built using core WordPress code and overly-developed custom functionality has been purposely avoided to make sure the site is easy to update as required.

Hosting

We host websites we look after with WP Engine – a dedicated WordPress hosting solutions provider. Our sites are hosted on Google datacentres in the UK and achieve load speeds of up to four times that of other hosting suppliers.

We also provide free SSL certificates, staging areas for development testing and rolling on-click backups and restores should the site need a roll-back to a previous version.

Ongoing support & SEO

We also provide Arnica with ongoing support for their website. This includes keeping WordPress and plugins up-to-date and we provide technical assistance as required via our support ticket system.
