The Brooke Trust is dedicated to sharing Sarawak’s unique history and heritage.
Originally founded to safeguard the Brooke family’s collection of papers and artefacts, the Trust has evolved into a dynamic volunteer-led charity with a mission to share and explore the history and heritage of the Brooke dynasty in Sarawak through projects that engage, inform and inspire and encourage responsible care of our world.
Creative design and artwork.
The Brooke Trust came to Toast with the copy, images and brand guidelines, so this project mainly focussed around designing the overall look and feel of the fundraising brochure.
We designed initial concept layouts that went through several development stages before the final brochure was artworked in line with the approved styling.

As we progressed through the design and art working of the brochure, our creative team set out all the styling rules within InDesign to allow for additional brochures to be designed quickly using the same style set.
Investing a little more time in professional art working an initial project can save time and budget further down the line if the brochure needs to be reworked for another purpose.
