Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Last updated: 21st March 2020.
In light of the recent announcements by the Government, the Toast team are now either working remotely or in isolation.
As a digital business Toast is already well-placed to work remotely, so we foresee little disruption in the services that we provide to our clients. Please note that we have suspended all face-to-face meetings until further notice.
All methods of contacting Toast remain unchanged.
Emails will be received and responded to by all staff.
Our phone system is cloud-based, so staff working remotely or in isolation will have their phones with them and working as normal – just continue to use the normal Toast contact numbers.
For live projects, we continue to use Basecamp to manage all communication. Messages posted to your Basecamp project will be responded to.
Support requests for websites and digital projects should be submitted through our ticketing system and all website support will continue as normal.
Projects are being worked on as normal.
If you currently have a project that’s in-progress with Toast, work will continue as normal, unless you instruct us otherwise.
Should you foresee any issues that may affect live project work, please let us know as soon as possible.
Website support & hosting.
Business-as-usual for our website support, maintenance and hosting services.
If you have a website support plan, maintenance contract or host your website with Toast, all services are running as-per-normal and will continue to do so.
Please use the normal methods of contacting Toast should you have any issues or requests.
Our third-party suppliers (WP Engine, Google, Zendesk and Cloudflare) all have their own procedures and safeguards in place to ensure services continue as normal.
New project enquiries.
We are still taking on new project work.
As we are able to operate and work remotely, we are still available to take on new projects.
This may be particularly important for businesses that may rely heavily on their websites in the light of a potential full lock-down to contain the spread of the virus.
We are here to help you continue to market your business and support your customers during these unprecedented times, so if you need help with anything, get in touch.
We’ll be following the Governments guidelines.
The current situation is changing on a daily basis, so Toast will be following guidance and minimising social contact where possible.
We are no longer holding face-to-face meetings at our studio or visiting clients, but can still meet via Skype (et al) as required.
